Glass
must be thoroughly cleaned using the small red scrapper,
be sure to remove any dust, dirt, old paint splashes
wax or grease.
Step 2
It is advised to work in a team of two for this step.
Carefully remove the backing from the film. Remember
to keep the film taut and away from any dust etc.
Step 3
Fill your trigger sprayer with water and a small amount
of washing up liquid. Now extensively spray your
clean piece of glass and the ‘sticky’ side
of the film.
Place the moistened film on to the moistened glass
and slide into position.
Step 4
Once you are happy with the position of your film,
Using the white card squeegee and working from the
centre outwards, press down the film pushing the
water/air out towards the edges. Try to avoid letting
the film slide about as you are working. Be sure
to completely remove all the air and water to assure
the film properly adheres to the glass.
Step 5
Carefully trim off any excess film with the cutting
knife placed on the inside of the tool multi trimmer.
Follow the two around each edge of the film. Re-flatten
any areas if needed. Once fitted, check for any water/air
bubbles. If they won’t push out, use a pin
or scalpel to carefully pop them, then squeeze out
the water/air.
Step 6
The finished product should be neatly fitted to
the glass with no water, air or dust visible.
